Multilevel Fixed Pulse Pattern Control for Medium Medium-Voltage High High-Frequency Inverter

To satisfy the demand for more compact medium-voltage motor drive systems, it is desirable to increase frequency of cascaded H-bridge inverters used in high-speed systems. However, asynchronous pulse width modulation (PWM) as output increases, command voltage and triangular wave carrier frequencies get closer, making impossible accurately voltage. This manifest itself increased current harmonics, surge at terminals, low-frequency ripple due nature system. In this study, we adopt a fixed pattern method address these problems. our method, low-distortion compiled advance into table, subsequently synchronization with fundamental phase. We were able confirm effectiveness proposed simulations 700 Hz 1000 Hz.
